"Nobody can realize the truth behind 'reality'. True freedom is brought about by the power of the heart. True power can be defined by the willpower of an individual... Which force is more powerful? The truth to power? Or freedom? The Light? or the Dark?" - Joxhaus

Dark, tear streak-like facial markings down his face.Personality: Quiet, normally shy around people he does not know. Usually fairly serious and philosophical at times. Innovative but occasionally the over-thinker. Has suffered from depression and still struggles to keep a good balance in life. Normally, honor-bound in encounters.Weapon: Living snake sword (Or what some would call a whip sword.)Weapon name: Lost ResolvePowers: Can manipulate reality (as well as his weapon) as he sees fit. Normally good in crowd control situations and even better in a 1v1 situation. Finally, his willpower is his best attribute. Putting him down won't be easy.Weaknesses: Certain forms of magic, serious physical or mental illnesses/ailments that could hinder his enhanced spacial awareness or thoughts. His Story

Life as a Nobody

-The Will of the Forgotten-After being found and brought back to the Organization in a broken and fading state, Joshua was given a new name before being placed into stasis to recover. He was now known as Joxhaus. However, even though he was reborn as a powerful Nobody, being in a broken and fading form, he would be deemed useless to the Organization... but Xemnas figured he would prove useful to their ranks if he was truly incapable of fading from existence. He entrusted Vexen and Zexion to study Joxhaus' powers, his vitals and anything else the could find out about him to see why he was incapable of disappearing. Vexen could have cared less because he was still trying to perfect his replica research, while Zexion attempted to take on the majority of this task. Joxhaus was a secret to everyone in the Organization except from Vexen, Zexion, Xemnas and his right hand man Saix.Joxhaus remained in stasis for about 7-8 months before his body was perfectly "normal" again. As he was recovering, he did hear voices echoing through his head. Someone was trying to talk to him as he slept. He wasn't fully sure who it was though all he knew was it was a female speaking to him. Once he was fully recovered he was given a coat from Zexion to be recognized as an unofficial member of their ranks. According to his data from the past several months, he would be just as strong as any of the members in their ranks and would probably be capable of taking on missions with them soon, if Xemnas allowed for it.But like all things, it's never that easy. Vexen and Zexion were required to give him a physical test in order to see if he was ready to be out on the field. Joxhaus seemed healthy on all fronts and even as a small side test, he managed for forge his weapon from his new-found power. A whip sword was not a weapon he was expecting though. However, its hilt reminded him of a family heirloom that he had in his first life. It was an officers sword that carried a formal rapier styled hilt; it belonged originally to his ancestors. After all of his tests were done, he found that a lot has changed and he learned quite a bit about his new powers. He could see small glimpses of past events through touch and could even sense if someone was lying. He had many more powers hidden within him but it would only be a matter of time for him to realize them. The only thing he didn't understand was why he had two dark streaking lines down his face. Zexion informed him that they are "dark conduits". They act similar to blood vessels or veins for the body. For Joxhaus' case, it was a very rare occurrence that they would be exposed enough to be visible (Which happened during the recovery process). When it was time for Joxhaus to be a part of the Organization, he was not given an official number. He was first given over to Saix, who had informed him of his position as second in command for the Organization. Joxhaus would be trained under Saix as his shadow until he would be ready to tackle missions on his own. Joxhaus did everything that Saix told him to do and he was rather respectful to him regardless of how Saix treated him. His militant and respectful attitude towards Saix did pay off in the long run. After about a week or so, Joxhaus was an official affiliate of the Organization.

Character Relationships

MAJOR NOTE: Joxhaus is obviously a Nobody. As a reminder, there is no true "relationships" between people he connects with. Aside from the fact that since he is an "original character" none of the information below is canon. This is MY interpretation of his relationships between various characters (primarily in the Kingdom Hearts universe). I may include other characters from different franchises because I have had some stories made about them. Joxhaus can cross into different worlds and different realities so he can make new things happen if he chooses to.

Organization XIII

I. Xemnas

The Superior is oddly fascinated with his powers... but at the end of the day, he still only sees Joxhaus as another potential tool to help with the Organization's success. They have rarely interacted outside of that single time where Xemnas brought Joxhaus' broken form back to the Organization originally. The times Joxhaus had managed to speak with the Superior, he was always respectful, but a little on edge... however, Joxhaus himself didn't have much of an opinion of Xemnas, due to the lack of interaction. Xemnas believes Joxhaus would make a fine vessel... as long as he keeps his mind focused on the Organization, and not his own self.

II. Xigbar

The carefree freeshooter never seemed to have a problem with the newcomer. Xigbar has even tried to chat up a conversation or two with the Will of the Forgotten. They have had... some... conversations, but similarly to Roxas, he was a bit more quiet than the other members. Joxhaus himself didn't mind talking to him every now and then... but he could sense that Xigbar seems to know more than he leads on... He can easily sense Xigbar's deceitful nature.

III. Xaldin

The Whirlwind Lancer is one of the few who seems to doubt and question Joxhaus' use and presence in the Organization. Remembering the issues with Roxas and Xion, it would only be natural for him to have a sense of mistrust. He tries to put Joxhaus down for any slip ups that occur, as well as occasionally reminding him of "his place" in the Organization. If there's one thing Xaldin does like about the Will of the Forgotten... it's his high knowledge of understanding psychology and complex combat. Joxhaus dislikes Xaldin's outlook on others... but due to his ability to understand the psychology of others, he worked around Xaldin's personality to where they now appear to be on a level of neutral/mutual respect.

IV. Vexen

Before the Chilly Academic was shipped away to Castle Oblivion, Vexen originally had very little concern about taking care of Joxhaus in his broken form in the labs. His priority was still on his replica research. However, after Joxhaus' initial recovery, Vexen seemed a bit surprised that the Will of the Forgotten took an interest in his research, as well as learning in general. He even allowed Joxhaus to help him and Zexion in the labs for a short time. While Vexen still showed displeasure towards everyone who poked at his research, (aside from Zexion) he seemed to have some silent appreciation for Joxhaus. Joxhaus has little to, no opinion on Vexen originally. He even seemed annoyed by Vexen's nagging nature... however, Zexion informed him that Vexen was not as bad as he seems. Now, Joxhaus has a neutral set of respect for him.

V. Lexaeus

The Silent Hero... prior to being sent to Castle Oblivion, like always, was pretty silent about Joxhaus. In turn, Joxhaus seemed to be the same way about him. Joxhaus was silently intimidated by him at first... but Zexion reassured him that he too is not as bad as he seems. Lexaeus has seen Joxhaus fight in the field at times. Informing him and others that "he could do better" or "he has more power than this". He's even tried to push Joxhaus' limits... and that ended poorly... at least from Joxhaus' point of view (nearly breaking his current body once again). Joxhaus believes he's incredibly harsh aside from being silent, but over time has noticed he's pushing him for good intentions. Trying to improve him to be stronger.

VI. Zexion (Ienzo)

The Cloaked Schemer Zexion was the first member that Joxhaus had any interactions with. Oddly enough they seemed to share very similar personality traits (with a few exceptions). Most of the time they seemed comfortable with talking to one another. If it weren't for the fact that they were Nobodies, they appeared to even act as friends. However, that was very short lived once Zexion had departed with the Castle Oblivion team... Never to be seen again. They both shared a high amount of respect for each other. Prior to the events of Kingdom Hearts 3, when Zexion was recompleted and returned to being Ienzo... he managed to contact Joxhaus... and being his friend, he encouraged Joxhaus to consider being recompleted as well. So far, Joxhaus has been closed minded to the idea.

Unfortunately, due to the "free use" of carrd, I don't have enough "element" space to place down all of the information for this page. I will cipher it to another carrd site as a continuation. Sorry in advance.

Art and Concepts

For anyone who is genuinely curious, I (the writer) have made the majority of Joxhaus' art. While not entirely perfect, the style is still getting sharpened and more defined as time goes on. Most of the completed works of Joxhaus have made me somewhat proud as a digital artist, but I hope my work with him will make later original character projects stand out just as much.(Note: 4/6 of these works below are complete. The second to last image is still actually a work in progress. And the bottom left image, or the pixel variant will be worked on more in depth at a later date as well.)

Originally when I first designed Joxhaus, he was going to look a little closer to Saix or Xemnas. Having much longer/thicker hair. At the beginning, I even didn't give him facial hair. Just the fancy little markings on his face (similarly inspired by Axel's "upside-down tears").But later on in life, I realized after looking into the lore of the Kingdom Hearts universe, the Nobody (at least the Nobodies from the original Organization) is suppose to look and resemble the appearance of the original person (before becoming said Nobody). Minor changes are fine, such as hair styles (i.e. length for some) as long as the character's design is the same as their original person. Saix (Isa), Axel (Lea), and Marluxia (Lauriam) come to mind. With that in mind, I reworked Joxhaus to be a little more on the realistic side. Shorter hair, but still defined enough to stand out, as well as the addition to facial hair. Also, as a side note, his facial markings were also slightly different in the first original concepts but altered to a more simpler look.

Weapon Design Inspiration

One of the few things that has stayed the same with Joxhaus over the years of the making has been the weapon of choice. The Whip Sword, or the Snake Sword as some might call it and his weapon's name, "Lost Resolve", is really just a similarity to his Nobody title "The Will of the Forgotten". And I'm sure there's a few of you reading this already knowing the inspiration behind the weapon of choice. As a avid gamer, Soul Caliber has been a game that has been a part of my childhood growing up. Mainly Soul Caliber 2, alongside Pokemon and Legend of Zelda for me. Soul Caliber 2 not only had my favorite video game hero, Link. But I was introduced to a whole new cast of characters and weapons to really look into. Three characters stood out to me the most in my time of playing Soul Caliber 2, has been Talim, Cervantes and Ivy Valentine. When it came time to choosing a weapon for my original character, I had a hard time figuring out what would be good for my character. I thought, "What weapon would stand out in a Kingdom Hearts/Square Enix universe?". When I looked back at the characters at the time, I had a lot of character inspirations to choose from. I almost went with Cervantes and his dual wielding swords (one of which being a pistol sword). But that choice was nullified because of Roxas and technically Axel too.I made the ultimate decision to follow in Ivy's footsteps for Joxhaus. And to this day I don't regret the weapon choice. Out of all the RPG hack and slash games I see now days that use swords of any kind, a whip sword doesn't even exist. Even Skyrim doesn't have that.I will eventually make a solo piece to show Joxhaus' whip sword when I find the time but I'll at least summarize some of its details. The hilt and handle was based after a U.S. Civil War officer's sword that I currently own that was originally a part of my family's history. The two moon-like crescents that are fused at the sides of the base of the blade, are used as close defensive guards from attacks. Not all weapons can be blocked by them but it certainly helps against weapons that have an average or smaller diameter than his weapon. Regular swords or Keyblades being the perfect size for this defense. And finally, the sword acts very similarly to Ivy Valentine's whip sword. Almost acting on it's own. Or being controlled by the will of its master. While I wanted Joxhaus' weapon to stand out in its design like the rest of the Organization's armory... I still needed to keep some simplicity to its end design. Even the Organization's weapons look a lot simpler than some weapon concept designs I've seen other artists make for their own original characters.

Define "Crowd Control"

An additional note on Joxhaus' abilities... He has the ability to summon multiple instances of bladed wires. Similarly to some of Ivy Valentine's attacks. But a better example would be from Warframe. Khora's strangledome. Multiple wires breaking through a space and lashing, capturing and/or strangling anything that gets close (Not nearly as crazy as the picture above). Joxhaus prefers to use this kind of crowd control method frequently in the field. Might cause a mess, but hey! It's effective.

The Writer

31 years old, male. Only child, normally quiet and shy.Super nice to everyone unless given a reason not to, but don't be afraid to talk to me! I'll be open to plot but give me moment to preface a few things...I am currently fighting off severe depression while trying to find work. I'm also trying to fix up my life as well as improve on creating stories and characters. So just know, I'm usually busy with life. Just be patient with me... I'd greatly appreciate it.

- Like I mentioned earlier be patient and respectful of my time and my life. I cannot help it if I'm busy some days.
- Shipping and/or Lewd interactions will have to be earned, since those things take time. Shipping specifically, I need to develop a chemistry with another writer... since the last time (first time) I tried was an absolute disaster.
